Applying for data and/or sample access
This page provides an overview of the steps involved in requesting access to data and/or samples.
Please email us at css_research@kcl.ac.uk with any questions.
Access to the CSS Research Platform and Biobank (RPB) data and/or samples, or invitation of a specific cohort for targeted study recruitment
If you wish to access existing data or samples from the CSS RPB, or propose the collection of new data or samples, please follow the steps below. The data application access process is summarised here.
- Step 1: First complete a Data/Samples Access Request Form. The request should specify the data and/or samples required clearly, along with the justification and aims/hypothesis of the project for which the data is requested.
- Step 2: Email the completed and signed form to us at css_research@kcl.ac.uk
- Step 3: Your request will be considered by the COVID RPB Management Group. We aim to respond within two weeks of receipt of the request.
Please note that there may be costs associated with fulfilling your request.
No attempt should be made to link or combine the data provided under an agreement to other information or archived data available for the data sets provided, even if access to that data has been formally granted to you, or it is freely available without restriction, unless specific permission to do so has been given by the CSS RPB Management Group.
